National Swimming Championships

We have 60 tickets for the events on Sunday 13th April, please contact Rachel Humpheys

rhumphreys@chorltonpark.manchester.sch.uk, letting her know how many tickets you require as well as your child’s name and class.  Otherwise please call into the school office or call 881 1621.  The tickets will be available on a first come first serve basis.

Year 4 – National Swimming Championships

The children are not allowed to take packed lunches to the NEM and so the trip will now be a ½ day with lunch back at school.  Don’t forget it will be PPA on the 1st Monday back.

Fitness Factory Easter Holiday Scheme

There are still some places left for Easter Sports Scheme.  Monday 31st March to Thursday 3rd April, 10.00-3.30 pm at £13 a day, at Loreto High School.  Call Sue Wood on 07708 065 430.

Sports Relief

Last week the school raised £447.48 for Sports Relief.  The mile jog / walk was great fun and some of the hair and headwear was extremely amusing.  Well done to everyone involved, especially Mrs Lamb who organised the event.

Dates to Remember:

Wizard of Oz

We would like to thank all the year 4 children for an incredibly exciting and professional performances this week.

Audiences were spellbound by the scenery, costumes but especially by actors and singers who delivered incredible performances.

A special thank you to the sound engineers, costume makers, make-up artists and stage hands who really contributed to the success.  Lots of staff and parents put in a lot of work, especially the director, Mrs Haycocks.  Thank you for your commitment, it really paid off.

The South Manchester Report came in and took photographs of the cast so look out for those during the Easter break.

Goodbye to Mrs Dunleavy

Mrs Dunleavy is leaving Oak Nursery today and although we know we will still see her from time to time in school we would like to wish her a happy retirement and thank her for her hard work and commitment to the school.  We know lots of the children and even some of the parents will remember being in her class and will join us in wishing her well.

Reception Trip

A reminder that the saving scheme starts on the first week back after Easter.
