Awards for All

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for the pupils of Chorlton Park Primary School. The school has been awarded a grant of nearly £8000 from Awards for All.  Awards for All is supported by the Arts Council England, the Big Lottery Fund, the Heritage Lottery Fund and Sport England.

Chorlton Park will benefit greatly from this grant as the money will go into purchasing multi-skills equipment for the lower years, introducing three new after school clubs for the new autumn term and enhancing the after school clubs we already have by renewing and investing in equipment.

The new Year 5 & 6 netball team can look forward to a brand new kit which is now on order!

This is an exciting time for Chorlton Park, so watch this space.  (For more information on ‘Awards for All visit the website: http://www.awardsforall.org.uk/

Year 5/6 Morning Start Time

From Monday Years 5 & 6 will be expected in school at 8.50 in the morning.  The doors will be open at this time and children have been instructed to make their way straight to their classrooms at 8.50.

Netball Results

Well done to the Year 5/6 netball team who played a fantastic game against Wilbraham Primary School.  Our netball team won with an impressive score of 10-3.

Lets hope we can repeat this great achievement when the team play Seymour Park on the 28th April.

Special thanks to Mrs Majid and Umar from 5LW for kindly lending Year 5 Sewing Club a sewing machine.  Now we can get busy and creative.  Many thanks
