The pupils at Chorlton Park Primary have a long tradition of proudly wearing the school uniform. Increased sport Parents will be aware that we have increased the amount of sport that we do in school and that often means that pupils are outside. During the winter months, mud is often brought into school on dirty trainers. I am aware that parents will start thinking about uniforms and clothing for September, therefore I have outlined our expectations. Outdoor /cold weather Tracksuit /jogging bottoms/jumper (not expensive). A separate pair of trainers for outdoor activities Indoor/ warm weather White T shirt, black shorts, pumps or trainers Please do not wear Football shirts, jeans, expensive /designer clothing We are unable to provide insurance for clothing that goes missing. From September We do want to encourage our pupils to participate in sport, including outdoors. However, we do not want parents to spend lots of money on expensive or designer clothing for school. Simple t shirts, tracksuits and trainers will be fine, particularly as these items may get muddy. We will be monitor the situation and inform parents of our expectations if this guidance is not followed. Parents can of course speak directly to their teacher or myself if they require any further guidance. |
