Attendance

The target for attendance this year is 96%. We are determined to ensure that this is achieved.

To help us achieve this target;

  • Please do not book a holiday before receiving permission from the head teacher
  • When approval is granted by the head teacher please do not over stay the time.
  • If parents are travelling abroad please ensure that you have a return ticket booked before you leave
  • Approval for a holiday is not automatic and may be refused if attendance is generally poor
  • Absences or holidays of more than 10days will not be granted. If more time is required, please attach these 10 days on to school breaks at half terms, Christmas and Easter.
  • The minimum attendance for all pupils is 96%
  • We will take pupils off register if the schools policy is not respected.
  • Parents can apply for an authorised holiday by collecting a form from the school office.

Punctuality

We believe that the start of the day is very important. School starts at 8.50am and finishes at 3.20pm. Please ensure that your child arrives and is collected at the correct time.

We will be monitoring both attendance and punctuality. And will take action if poor attendance lateness is ongoing.
