Nursery News

Our Number of the Week is 3.  What things will you find to do with 3?

If you are taking part with the art activity packs our theme this week is: Design a Spider.  It will be exciting to see your spiders on Monday.

Our Bug Box visit will take place on 5th May.  The children will get to see various creatures in small groups in the Infant Hall.  Look out for the posters we have made this week in anticipation of this event.

As the weather has improved recently we’d like to remind you to label all items of clothing including hats.  Please remember to send your child in shoes that are suitable for running and climbing as flip flops and Crocs can be unsafe.  A light jacket is also a good idea as the weather is liable to change.  We are awaiting the return of many items clothing which have been worn after accidents.  These clothes are labelled with the names Oak and Acorn.  Our supply of spare clothing has run low at present.  Have a lovely weekend.  See you next week – The Nursery Staff.

Reminder about Parking

Please can you not park in front of the school at the beginning and end of the day.  This is causing considerable difficultly to the older children who are going to and from school on their own.  Particularly the parking across the pavement and road is extremely dangerous to our children and other pedestrians.  Please be more thoughtful to others and park and stride.
