Parking Outside School

We will be taking part in a National Walk to school Campaign on the week beginning 18th May. We are encouraging all our parents to leave their cars at home, save petrol and money, save the environment, get healthy and walk to school with their children.  Also, I have been informed that the City Council are taking the issue of
parking on our zig-zag lines and the pavement outside school very seriously. It is dangerous and I know that a minority of our parents are the ones who are ignoring our advice. I do think that a serious accident will occur soon if you keep ignoring our pleas. So, during the week beginning 18th May we have asked the council to support our campaign by sending a Parking Civil Enforcement Officer to ensure no one parks, even for a minute, where they are not supposed to.

If you are caught by the traffic enforcement officers between 18th – 22nd May 09, they will be taking a picture of your vehicle, tracing the owner
and sending you a warning letter by post. If this does not stop you parking on our zig-zags then in future you may get a fine. Please, please,
please help us to ensure the safety of every child that comes to our school.

Year 5 Taster Morning at Chorlton High

Year 5 children have been invited to Chorlton High on Tuesday 23rd June 10.00-12.00.  This is a great opportunity for children to see first hand what secondary schools have to offer.

Manchester 10k

Good luck to all 10k runners.  A group will be meeting from 9.30am at the bus station on Chorlton Street (just below Portland Street) – where there are loos!  After the race all are invited to Tampopo Triangle for home made lemonade or fresh lime soda on the house.

Good Luck to Young Runners from Chorlton Park

Some children from R2 are running in the mini run.
Good luck to Maggie Cooper in 1SL, Ana O’Brien, Ella Boyes and Daniel Eaton from R2 who are all running in the Mini Great Manchester Run on Saturday morning.

Lunch Menu

From Monday we are on week 2 of the Menus, which are available on the website.  Please note Tuesdays and Wednesdays menus will be switched for this week.
