Harvest Festival

Please remember that on Tuesday we have an opportunity to help those less fortunate than ourselves, who are needy and homeless.

Could you remember to please send a small gift of food with your child on Tuesday 6th October.  It can be tinned, fresh or dried.

We have a visitor coming from the Salvation Army who is going to take away your gifts to use at their shelters for homeless people and to take to needy families in the area.

This was a great success last year and we managed to help many people, we are hoping to do even better this year?

Year 3 Pirate Day

Year 3 are celebrating their work this term on pirates with a Pirate Day on Friday 23rd October.

Nursery News

Next week’s colour is Orange

As part of Story Week we will try to read your child’s favourite book if they bring it in.  Ensure the name is on the inside cover of the book and hand it to one of the teachers so that they can store it safely.

Children need to bring a weather proof coat everyday as the weather changes frequently.  Book bags and Blue Play Bags should be returned on Monday, so that the contents can be checked and replaced in preparation for the next time they are sent out.
