School Meal Meeting – Mon 28th June Parents and carers are invited to a school meal meeting to give us feedback on school meals. We welcome people with children on packed lunches as well as school dinners because we want to find out more about what you think and your ideas. We will be hold a similar meeting with the children next week. Medicine in School If your child needs antibiotics 4 times a day, the office staff will give your child the lunchtime dose as required for as long as necessary, if you have completed the relevant medicine form. This is purely voluntary on their behalf. We will no longer be giving Piriton or Calpol during the school day. If your child has these medicines please give them their dose before and after school. If you have brought in medicine to school please collect it from the Office before the end of term. Lunch Boxes Please would parents remind their children to take their lunch boxes home with them each night, as we have noticed that a number are being left in the evening. For hygiene reasons we ask that all lunch boxes go home after school. Thank you. Year 5 PPA This is change for next week and will be on Monday 28th June. The following week PPA will be on Friday 9th July. The final week of term PPA will be on Monday 12th July. |
Staff vs. Girls Netball match Sun hats in the reception classes Our reception classes would appreciate any donations of spare sun hats so that all children can wear hats when outside in the sun. Please bring any donations to the main school office. Thank you Car Parking The car park next door will be closed at the beginning and end of the school day to prevent parents parking, following some near misses last week. If you park in this car park you could find yourself locked in. Maths Money Week Monday marks the beginning of maths money week in school. Children will be fund raising in every year group. This will hopefully raise economic awareness as well as developing some entrepreneurial skills! There will be competitions going on in each phase for the class that manages to raise the most money. All the money from Key Stage 1 and 2 will fund a really exciting soccer academy next week, and the foundation will be able to choose what they want to do with their money. Nursery News Acorn and Oak have had their trips to Tatton Park Farm. This was new for this year and was a really successful visit. The children found the farm fascinating. Thank you to all the volunteers for their vital support. Mrs Burgess would like to thank all staff for all their preparation and they were rewarded by the children’s impeccable behaviour.
