Each class will participate in 6 different activities and will be competing against the other classes in their year to see which class can get the most points. As the World Cup is currently taking place and classes have already represented World Cup teams in the sponsored walk, classes are to represent the same team for Sports day, so children should try and wear PPA clothes with colours which reflect their World Cup team.

Please come and along support your child’s class.

Medicine in School

If your child needs antibiotics 4 times a day, the office staff will give your child the lunchtime dose as required for as long as necessary, if you have completed the relevant medicine form. This is purely voluntary on their behalf.

We will no longer be giving Piriton or Calpol during the school day. If your child has these medicines please give them their dose before and after school.

If you have brought in medicine to school please collect it from the Office before the end of term.

Please would parents remind their children to take their lunch boxes home with them each night, as we have noticed that a number are being left in the evening. For hygiene reasons we ask that all lunch boxes go home after school. Thank you.

School Meal Menu

We are trialling some new exciting recipes for the rest of the term.  We will be asking for feedback from children and parents and finalising the menus for September at the end of the summer term based on this feedback.

The new menus are on the website and in the office and towards the end of the summer term we will be holding parent and pupil forums so please look out for these dates in the newsletter.

Because of these changes will not be using the pre-order meal system we have been using for years 5 & 6.  Once the menus are finalised we will be going back to the pre-order system for Key Stage 2.
