I think the proposed logos aren't really visually strong enough to justify a change from the current version. The leaves that surround the present acorn [from which mighty things grow] has a strong visual representation of nurturing which the new versions entirely lack. Maybe the present logo could do with a more up to date revamp with a change of typeface [as suggested above] and a new illustration of the acorn and leaves, but I think it is much stronger than these other suggestions. But i will tell you what i think is the best one anyway.
